Specification

One of the most popular fireplace surround styles of all time is Ubatuba; Verde Ubatuba features green and grey colors mixed with black that reflects the sparkle of your fire. Ships in 5-7 days.

3/4" thickness. Lay the hearth first, then install the legs and header. Ideally the legs of the mantel should sit on top of the hearth.

Natural stone materials vary in colors and veining. The photo is representative of the primary color in this granite sample.

Note: Risers are used with prefabricated metal fireplaces, or with masonry fireplaces where the floor of the fireplace is NOT flush with the hearth.

AVAILABLE IN 3 PRE-CUT SIZES (Also available cut to your custom size). If you have a full mantel then cuts for custom sizes may not be required; it is preferred that the mantel OVERLAP the stone facing to provide a nicely finished edge.

We can also ship a Micore board (72" x 20" x 1/2") as an underlayment below the hearth. This helps provide a stable surface when you're installing on concrete subfloors. F-26 Construction adhesive in a caulk gun size tube available for adhering the stone to the wall.

PLEASE NOTE: Natural stone is HEAVY! It will ship to you in a wooden crate and arrive by freight truck. YOU MUST have help on hand to remove it from the truck and carry it inside - truck drivers are not required to do this for you.
