Vermiculite is used only on LP vented Peterson gas logs as a base beneath the grate. IN GENERAL, natural gas logs do not use vermiculite. So, don't add this product to your log set if it doesn't already have them. Over a period of time the vermiculite below your logs will tend to get dusty, so it's a good idea to replace this media yearly to keep your gas logs burning at optimal appearance. 24 oz. bag.
