This English cast iron surround is from the 1990's so it's not terribly old but is a replica of an antique. It was originally designed for a now discontinued gas model. There are slots on each side that accept a total of FIVE 6"x6" tiles; 10 tiles fill both sides. This originally sold for $1299 over 20 years ago. Although the tile on the upper right is broken, this is how we received it and we left the tiles in place to show how it is used; we'll remove the tiles before shipping. Measures 40.5" wide, 38" tall. The opening is 19W x 22.5H.
Due to its size and weight it must ship on a pallet by freight carrier which incurs an extra $125 freight cost if you're unable to pick it up at our shop in Richmond, VA.
