The popular Legend gas insert has been available since the 1990's, and the G4 - or fourth generation - is a bigger model better suited to larger fireplaces. It has a decidedly more modern look than the G3 model, with larger logs but also a choice of contemporary glass or driftwood & pebble effect fires and offers exceptional heating capability. With a BTU input rating of up to 33,000 btu's, it can heat approximately 2,000 to 2,500 square feet. The valve is controlled via a battery system so it offers thermostatically controlled heating, even when the power is out!

We can choose anything we want to burn in our house and chose the G4 model - and we love it! What I really like is the hidden controls. While the valve and controls are located under the firebox on most models, on the G4 they're positioned on the side. This brings the fire down to be virtually flush with the bottom of the insert for an impressively realistic look.

Per the manufacturer's requirements, we are only authorized to sell/ship this model within Virginia. The prices shown at right include the dual 3" aluminum chimney liner kit and programmable thermostat remote control. We do offer delivery and installation statewide; travel charges apply outside of the greater Richmond area. Visit our store to see the G4 on display and burning.
