Stop by and see the Valor G4 gas insert we just installed at the store! At 30,000 btu's it can heat 2000 sq ft or more. We're so impressed that we're putting one in our house as part of our unplanned downstairs remodel.
Like all the other Valor gas fireplaces and inserts, it included a hand held remote control with thermostat operation. Set the desired room temperature and the remote checks the room temp every 4 minutes; if you need more heat then it turns the flame up and if the room has gotten too warm then it turns the flame down. This saves a lot of gas and makes sure the room stays comfortable.
We like this insert so much that we installed it in our own fireplace at home.

HOW TO USE YOUR REMOTE CONTROL TO TURN ON THE FIREPLACE
The left side of your remote has 1 long button and there are 2 buttons on the right. Simultaneously press the bottom of the left button and the top right button. You should hear a clicking sound. Release the buttons and your flame will turn on.
