Cleaning Fireplace Glass
Get rid of that white film on your gas fireplace
When gas burns it creates a mineral that appears as a white buildup on your glass window and is caused by sulphur content within the gas.
We recommend you clean the glass as soon as you notice this buildup because the white film can etch the glass and damage it permanently. This damage is not covered under any warranties.
DON'T USE ammonia or Windex, paper towels, abrasive cleaners or scouring pads
DO USE a soft cloth to apply emulsion type cleaners such as White Off by Rutand Products, Turtle Wax or the cleaners made to clean a glass range cooktop.
